The Surgeon Doctor İlker M. was born in Ankara in 1971. After graduating from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1999, he passed the TUS examination with high scores in the same year and was qualified to specialize in Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, one of the oldest medical schools in Turkey. With the ideal of being a respected aesthetic surgeon, İlker M. during his six years of specialization training at Hacettepe University visited the University of Kuopio in Finland and Linköping University in Sweden as an observer doctor.

After completing his specialization in 2001 he worked as Chief of Department of Hand Surgery in İstanbul Private İren Hospital until 2004. Then, he worked at the Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic of Professor. Dr. Onur Erol, one of the known surgeons in our country as a fellow and later as a partner. Then, Mr. İlker focused on nasal surgeries (rhinoplasty), worked in the Zeeba clinic in Cleveland, Ohio with the Professor. Dr. Bahman Guyuron who is one of the world’s leading plastic surgeons in the field of rhinoplasty.

Functional aesthetic nasal surgery, breast implants, deep layer face lift, rejuvenation surgery around the eyes and mega-liposuction (over 5 liters of liposuction) Buttock enhancement (bbl) are some of the special areas of his specialization.

Mr. İlker’s ideal is to obtain the ideal nose with a single operation and to eliminate the main problems encountered in nose operations. Two of the techniques he developed for this purpose were presented at the Symposium on Plastic Surgery Symposium in Italy in 2008.

These techniques, which prevent nasal collapse and provide permanent recovery of curved noses in one séance, in 2010 and 2011 were entitled to be published in the world-renowned aesthetic surgery magazines. Mr. İlker’s English knowledge at an advanced level. In his spare time from plastic surgery, he is engaged in reading history, philosophy, and likes to listen to classical music. His sports activities indispensable for a healthy life are fencing, skiing, and swimming. He is a member of the Istanbul Medical Chamber, Turkish Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Association.
